A popular Princeton lecturer has died while on an apparent leave of absence, and the university is said to have failed to comment on the cause of death. Some rumours suggest he may have committed suicide, and a letter from one colleague accused Nassar Hall of not being entirely open about the circumstances surrounding Antonio Calvo’s death. There are claims that his contract was being terminated, against the wishes of his department.
There are conflicting reports as to why Calvo would be let go, with some suggesting that there may be more to the story than the university is revealing. So far, it all seems to be a massive set of smoke and mirrors, with lots of insinuations and no real answers.
