4-year-old Indiana boy Jacob Michuda reportedly shot by accident, neighbour Bruce Pond accused

A 4-year-old Indiana boy who died on Friday night while fishing with his father was reportedly killed by an accidental gunshot wound to the temple.

Jacob Michuda died while fishing from a pier with his father. A neighbour, Bruce Pond, has allegedly been accused of reckless homicide and news reports suggest that alcohol might have been involved. The death is being considered to be a freak accident.

An ambulance was apparently called at around 11pm and Jacob Michuda was rushed to a local hospital in Fort Wayne. Michude died at around 3am and Bruce Pond was reportedly arrested later that day. The exact circumstances of the death are not clear.
