A Los Angeles artist has been visited by police after he was spotted painting a picture of a bank on fire. Alex Schaefer, 41, was apparently asked if he planned to follow through on the image he was painting.
Schaefer was painting the bank from across the street when police apparently approached him. The artist pointed out that terrorists would probably not spend hours painting their target, and he was allowed to go on his way.
A few days later, however, he was visited at his home by officers who asked him about his feelings towards banks. He has since written about the whole thing on his blog, where you can also see the painting in question.
