An autistic 8-year-old boy is missing in Southern California after running away from an elementary school playground into the woods. Joshua Robb has not been seen since around 11am at the school in Arrowhead.
Complicating the search is the fact that Joshua Robb reportedly doesn’t respond well to loud noises, which means that the use of search parties and helicopters is likely to make him less likely to come out of hiding.
Search and rescue teams from Riverside and San Diego have joined the hunt. Joshua Robb is described as around 65 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes, and last seen wearing a tan and grey striped shirt, black shorts and grey sandals.
