Is Mike Oldfield dead? Rumours suggest he died in Turks and Caicos Islands jet ski accident

There are rumours this evening that Tubular Bells musician Mike Oldfiend has died in a jet-ski accident in the Turks and Caicos Island.

However, the rumours don’t seem to be true. Happily, it seems that the single site that reported his death is a fake. Why anyone would bother to create a fake death story about Mike Oldfield isn’t clear.

Mike Oldfield is 58 years old and 1973′s Tubular Bells remains his signature album, although he has released more than 20 albums in the years since that hit.

  2. Absolutely fake. This is the only source: mike.oldfield.mediafetcher.com/news/top_stories/jet-ski_musician_turks.php

At the end of this site, everybody can see it’s a fake maker using random names. An example: justin.bieber.mediafetcher.com/news/top_stories/jet-ski_musician_turks.php
