Comic book legend Frank Miller slams Occupy protest movement

Frank Miller, the award-winning and hugely popular comic book writer behind the likes of 300 and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, has hit out at the Occupy protest movement, branding it nonsense and saying it’s full of thieves and rapists.

Writing on his blog, Miller put together a pretty strong denial of the spirit of the Occupy movement, and it’s clear from the comments section on the post that not all of Miller’s fans are too happy with his comments.

Miller is far from the only public figure to have slammed the Occupy movement, but it seems that some within the movement are particularly sensitive to his comments, pehaps because Miller has for so long been a hero to many younger people.
