French porn star Francois Sagat is to lead a master class at New York’s Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), to tie in with MAD’s show Francois Sagat: The New Leading Man. The master class will take place on Saturday November 19th, and will be accompanied by various film screenings dedicated to Sagat’s work.
Sagat is something of a legend in the porn world. As well as his obvious skills, he sports a full-scalp tattoo. In a recent interview, he insisted that his porn career does not affect his other work and that there is little that holds him back.
While some people will undoubtedly be aghast at the idea of a porn star being invited into the hallowed territory of a museum, porn is arguably one area of the arts that hasn’t been analysed to death in recent years.
