So here’s a guy with muscular dystrophy asking Mitt Romney about medical marijuana, and then asking Ron Paul about the same thing. The videos are a few years old, but they do reveal something not only about the different opinions of the two candidates, but also about the different ways in which they engage with people.
Romney is heading into the upcoming South Carolina primary in a strong position, even if there are signs that his support in the state is slipping. He has (just about) won the races in Iowa and New Hampshire (even if the former was a statistical dead heat), but those were fairly easy races. Heading into the Deep South, the running will be much harder for him.
Whether support for medical marijuana is going to be a vote-winner for Ron Paul in the south remains to be seen. But there seems to be a sense that conservatives are lining up behind Paul as the best (only?) Stop Romney candidate, and it’ll be fascinating to see how a Romney vs. Paul head-to-head in the full glare of the media plays out.

This needs to go viral
