Although police have yet to issue confirmation, Norwegian media sources are reporting that the man suspected of carrying out the devastating bomb and shooting attacks in Oslo on Friday is allegedly a 32-year-old named Anders Behring Breivik.

It’s important to stress that this information is unconfirmed at the moment. Nevertheless, local media are reporting the name. It’s unclear what the motive behind the attacks might have been, and it should be noted that even if the suspect is a Norwegian national, this doesn’t rule out the possibility of a link to Islamic extremism.
In his only tweet, Breivik noted “One person with a belief is equal to the force of 100,000 who have only interests”.
Nevertheless, it is becoming increasingly likely that the attack was home-grown. Analysts say that the vehicle bomb would have been very difficult for a ‘lone wolf’ attacker to carry out, but not impossible. The suspect is believed to have been spotted in the area of the bombing a few hours before the explosion.

Weird, according to the facebook page.. This guy is some kind of run-of-the-mill liberal (look at his books). Not at all the “right-wing extremist” the meida babble on about.
Posted by CV | July 22, 2011, 11:12 pmIt kind of depends. In the US libarlism is used on people on the left side. In Europe it`s used on people on the right side. Maybe not right wing extremist.. im not an expert.

Posted by Gunnilla | July 22, 2011, 11:17 pmOne man cannot destroy Norway.
Posted by Jamie | July 22, 2011, 11:21 pmTrue, but a few hundred thousand somalians can.
This person has most likely struck a massive blow against the very cause he is claimed to have been working for. He was anti-islam (for obvious reasons) but because of this, he may have aided the politically correct traitors. That will most likely be the effect in Sweden at least, I hope the norwegians are smarter.
Still, interesting event and definately something new. Muslims were responsible for 97% of all “terror-killings” in the western countries until now, 91% if you ignore 9/11. They might be down to 90% now!
Posted by Illwill | July 23, 2011, 12:07 amHe stated to be a nationalist, and he’s made several anti-islamic remarks on various forums online. Add the shootings and the bombs to that equation, I think whats left is a right wing extremist, dont you?
