Anders Behring Breivik reportedly considered other targets in Norway terror campaign

Anders Behring Breivik is said to have told Norwegian police that he considered several targets for his terror spree before settling on central Oslo and Utoya.

Although there is no confirmation of the other targets, media sources suggest that the royal palace and the main parliament building – both of which are in central Oslo – could well have been on his list.

Meanwhile, police are said to be scouring CCTV footage from the centre of Oslo to work out Breivik’s movements leading up to the attacks. They are said to be increasingly confident that his claims of being connected to two other Norwegian terror cells are not true, although the possibility clearly can’t be discounted.
