Justin Bieber hits 14 million followers, as fans send death threats to Mariah Yeater

Justin Bieber has broken the 14m follower barrier on Twitter, putting him just 1m behind frontrunner Lady Gaga. The achievement has led to a great deal of rejoicing among Bieber’s fans. But some of those fans have shown a darker side, tweeting vitriol and in some cases death threats against Mariah Yeater.

Over the past couple of days, Mariah Yeater has hit the headlines after she allegedly claimed to have had sex with Bieber and carried his child. Bieber’s representatives have strongly denied the claims and have said that they will be seeking to quickly deal with the ‘demonstrably false’ allegations.

Some of Bieber’s fans have been tweeting that Yeater should die, but Yeater herself has so far for the most part kept quiet. It remains to be seen if she will come forward to give a full interview about her claims, although she has already given evidence under oath to support the allegations.
