A popular US football assisatnt coach has allegedly been accused of sex crimes against minors. Former Penn state assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, 67, is also known for his extensive work with a children’s charity.
There are allegedly a total of 40 counts included in the paperwork filed against Sandusky, with dates as far back as 1996. Saundsky retired from coaching Penn State shortly after the Alamo Bowl in December 1999 and worked with his charity until last year, when he retired to spend more time with his family.
A Clinton County teen allegedly made allegations against Sandusky, kicking off an investigation that allegedly turned up other accusations. Sandusky has so far made no comments about the claims.
