A Sudanese man has been beheaded in a Saudi Arabian car park, after being accused of being a sorceror. Abdul Hamid Bin Hussain Bin Moustafa al-Fakki was blindfolded and forced to kneel before he head was cut off in front of a large crowd.
Video of the incident has surfaced online, although it doesn’t stay up for long due to the graphic nature of the contents so it’s not worth linking to it. The footage shows the man kneeling by a car before another man swings down with a sword and the victim’s head comes off.
The number of such executions carried out in Saudi Arabia this year has increased dramatically, raising fears that the kingdom is becoming increasingly hardline. It’s not clear whether the execution of Abdul Hamid Bin Hussain Bin Moustafa al-Fakki was officially ordered or was a vigilante-style killing.
