Not for the first time, rumours are sweeping Twitter that Simply Red star Mick Hucknall has died. The rumours seem to be based on the same old fake obituary page that spawned the last wave of gossip.
Nevertheless, plenty of people are expressing their sorrow over Hucknall’s death. Simply Red fans (yes, there are some!) are cautiously asking “Oh no, is it true?” and there are plenty of people willing to fan the flames and keep the rumour going.
So it seems that Mick Hucknall is still very much alive. And the world is faced with the prospect of his eventual death being met with a wall of scepticism, since fake death notices for him tend to pop up every few months.
