Two Britons killed in Majorca helicopter crash

Two Britons have died in a helicopter crash in Majorca. The names of the victims have not been released, and formal identification is not believed to have taken place so far although family members have been informed.

The helicopter crashed between Andratx and Estellecs on the mountainous south-west tip of the island. The circumstances of the accident aren’t clear, nor are there any indications as to what might have caused the crash.

There have been a number of high profile helicopter crashes in recent weeks. In the past few days alone, five people died after a helicopter crash in Hawaii, while Mexico’s Minster of the Interior Francisco Blake Mora died on Friday when a helicopter crashes on the outskirts of Mexico City.
