6 injured, 1 missing after house explosion in Fairborn, Ohio

6 people have been injured and 1 is still missing after a house was destroyed by an explosion in Fairborn, Ohio. The explosion is believed to have been caused by damage to a gas supply line.

The missing man is believed to be a male, while the victims – including an infant – were rushed to hospital after the explosion blew them out of the house. Witnesses reported seeing at least three bloodied children after the fireball that destroyed the property.

It’s believed that work was being carried out on a water pipe at the time, and that an adjacent gas pipe could have been damaged. Neighbours were evacuated from their homes after the explosion, but have since been allowed to return.
