Police in Pennsylvania have allegedly arrested a man named Oscar Ortega-Hernandez in connection with a recent apparent gun incident in the area near the White House in Washington DC.
On Friday last week, it was reported that a gun had been discharged near the White House. Investigators initially said that the incident was believed to be only coincidentally close to the President’s official residence. But it was revealed earlier this week that a bullet was found in a protective window at the White House, with another nearby.
Police have not definitively linked the bullets with the shooting. The whole set of incidents occurred while President Obama was out of town, first in Hawaii and then in Australia.
