Four police officers have been injured, three as a result of stab wounds, following an incident in North London. A man has been arrested following the incident, which happened in the Kingsbury Road area.
Honeypot Lane has been closed both ways around the A4006 Kenton Road junction because of the incident. The injured officers have been taken to hospital but there’s no word so far as to how seriously they are injured.
No further details have been released about the incident, or about the identify of the man who is believed to have been responsible. The incident happened before 9am on Satuday morning, after the officers had been called to a disturbance and were attacked by a man to whom they were trying to speak.
Six weeks ago a mentally disturbed woman snatched a knife from a butchers shop in Broadway, Bexleyheath.
On that occasion, there was a fatality. Perhaps butchers could review the feasibility of arranging their shops so that, if it isn’t already the case, it is difficult to snatch a knife by leaning across or by getting behind the counter.

Ooops.. I should have said that the common factor in the Bexleyheath incident and this Kingsbury Road incident is that a knife was snatched from a butcher’s shop.
