Gaddafi’s spy chief Abdullah al-Sanussi ‘surrounded’

Muammar Gaddafi’s former spy chief Abdullah al-Sanussi, the final member of the old regime being hunted by the new government, is reportedly surrounded at his sister’s house in the south of the country.

When Saif al-Islam Gaddafi was captured last week, it was initially expected that Abdullah al-Sanussi would be with him. But since then it has turned out that the two men, who were reportedly together as recently as late October, had separated at some point

Militiamen are now said to have Abdullah al-Sanussi’s location completely surrounded. It’s not known yet what communications have been made with him, if any, but the Libyan government will be keen to ensure that the last remaining sought-after Gaddafi government member is finally captured.
