Taylor Swift threatens legal action over alleged topless photo

Taylor Swift has reportedly threatened to take legal action against a website that claims to have an alleged topless photo of the singer. Swift’s lawyers claim that the woman in the photo is not Swift, and that the website must take it down immediately.

The website is said to be considering its options over what Swift’s team insist are ‘fake pornographic images’. The alleged image is not believed to be in any way related to a rash of hacked photos from the phones of celebrities that leaked earlier this year.

While Taylor Swift might succeed in getting the photo pulled from the site, it’s likely to remain online since many people will probably have copied it by now. To some extent, such photos can never be fully removed once they’re online.
