A 200-page psychiatric report, considering the mental state of July 22nd terror attack suspect Anders Behring Breivik, has been completed and delivered to authorities in Oslo, Norway. The report is believed to conclude that Breivik is insane.
Breivik faces a maximum 21 years in jail if he is found guilty of the attacks, although the sentence could be extended if he is later deemed to still be a danger to society. But if the psychiatic report casts serious doubt on his sanity, he could instead be detained indefinitely in a psychiatric hospital.
Anders Behring Breivik has admitted carrying out the twin terror attacks in Norway on July 22nd this year, killing 77 people and injuring more than 150. But he says the attacks were ‘necessary’ because of what he sees as the weakening of Norwegian society due to multi-culturalism.
