Google launches new drop-down menu to draw together range of services

Google has launched a new drop-down service menu designed to help users draw together the various Google products they use. And as expected, it focuses heavily on the Google+ social network.

Earlier this year, Google launched a new look that featured a black bar at the top of the screen. The new design will dispense with that black bar in favour of a less obtrusive but arguably more functional and useful bar.

Once again, the key watchword here seems to be ‘sharing’, as Google claims that the new bar makes it easier than ever for people to share from one Google product to another. The bar is expected to roll out to all users soon.
