Marcin Kasprzak accused of burying Michelina Lewandowska alive

Marcin Kasprzak has been found guilty of burying Michelina Lewandowska alive. Lewandowska was buried in a box near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire earlier this year, but managed to dig her way out and flag down a passing motorist.

Michelina Lewandowska used a ring to scrape away at the box, after which she was able to make her way up to the surface. The box had been covered with soil and a tree branch, but she was able to get free despite fearing that she would never survive the ordeal.

Speaking to the court, Michelina Lewandowska said that she prayed to God to give her strength to find a way out of the box so she could look after her child. She said that she still has nightmares about the incident, which happened in May. A second man, Patryk Borys, was cleared of any involvement.
