There’s a video going viral in which a bunch of teens thrash Florida stores, generally causing chaos and leaping over – and into – various displays. The video was apparently posted at one point by a participant who subsequently deleted the video.
The video has sparked an outpouring of comment. Some people see it as anti-corporate hijinks, others see it as random destruction. But coming in the same year as the London riots, it’s bound to raise new questions about the extent to which some people in our society seem to want to take out their frustrations by attacking symbols of capitalist culture.
It’s not clear what happened to the teens in the video, or what might happen to them, but they’ve already become viral video stars.
