Google launches new musical doodle for Christmas

Google has unveiled its Christmas doodle, and as might be expected its a musical, joyous and somewhat complicated experience.

Users in most countries get to see various Christmas symbols replacing the traditional letters of the Google logo, while US users get a version of Jingle Bells that plays as the mouse is hovered over the various letters.

While Google doodles are often popular, they can also be political. Google seems to be playing it relatively safe, clearly reflecting the Christmas spirit while avoiding too many overt references to Christianity.
