Video shows Australian tourist Erin Laung Worth survive after bungee jump rope breaks in Zimbabwe

An Australian tourist has survived after her bungee jump rope broke over the Zambesi River on the Zimbabwe-Zambia border. And a video captures the moment 22-year-old Erin Laung Worth fell into the crocodile-infested waters.

Worth was jumping from the 111m-high Victoria Falls bridge, and once she was in the water she had to swim to safety with her feet still tied together. As she swam, the rope got caught on various objects and at one point she had to swim down to free herself.

The river is known to have crocodiles, but there are no reports that she was in any immediate danger. Nevertheless, she reportedly cought up water and blood when she reached the shore, and admits she’s lucky to be alive.
